Most oars built in the shop are custom ordered and an inventory of oars is not typically kept on hand. Occasionally oars will eddy-out in the shop, and what is currently on hand and is for sale is listed here. Currently FOR SALE:
Pair of 8′ 3″ ash/walnut oars decorated with inlaid dots. Oar blades are protected by Dynel blade-tip edging. Decorated leather oar-stops have silver/turquoise conchos, and the location of the oar-stops will be fixed per the buyer’s requirements. Leather wraps will accommodate boats with a distance between oar-locks of as little as 55″ (with 3″ oar handle overlap) to about as wide as ~72″. Inquire for more details on oar-stop location/oar-sizing.
Perfect for small rafts like Hyside Mini-max, AIRE Puma, etc. Or, for small hard hull boats like doryaks or even old school cataract boats.
Oars are located in Moab, UT, but with the small length semi-reasonable shipping rates may be possible–reach out for details.
